B-hyve hose timers – Low Battery

Try this solution

Follow the steps below

Low battery on the B-hyve hose faucet timers, will result in your timer turning itself to OFF automatically, being unable to turn it back to AUTO, and not allowing it to go into pairing mode.

If you notice that your hose timer is perhaps not running the schedule you scheduled it to run, then it is very possible that the batteries need to be changed out. Once the batteries are changed out, you will still need to go into your device settings and switch the timer to AUTO. To do this, use the following instructions:

  1. From the home screen of the B-hyve app, tap on “My B-hyve”.

  2. Next, you will need to tap on “Devices”.

  3. After that, select the hose timer that you have changed the batteries on.

  4. Lastly, you will need to switch the device from “OFF” to “AUTO” by selecting “AUTO” beneath the “Device Run Mode” option.

Your Hose timer should now be set to properly run any previously created programs.

Typically, the B-hyve hose timers will turn themselves to OFF once they get to the 20-30% range. This is to make sure that if the timer were to turn on per its programmed schedule and run out of battery, it would still be able to turn off. Since battery life percentage can change depending on temperature and other factors, turning the timer to OFF early can prevent any overwatering.

The above information refers to all of the B-hyve hose faucet models.
